“Ambassador of Italian Gelato in the World” and entrepreneur in the sweet industry

Cristian Monaco takes his first steps in the world of artisanal confectionery thanks to his family’s 30-year tradition in the business. In 2005, the Mamò gelato parlors project was born, operating in Rome with more than 10 points of sale and a centralized laboratory for production. A multiple award-winning gelato maker in several national and international competitions as well as a gelato teacher, Monaco was named “Ambassador of Italian Gelato in the World” by the Italian Gelato Makers Association.
